The Story Behind the Song

David and I wrote the majority of this song one Sunday afternoon. We were just hanging out, David with his guitar and me with my journal. We wanted to write a song that can be taken two ways: 

1. As an expression of thanks to God for making us his own, and 
2. As an expression of thanks to our wives for allowing us to be part of their lives.

These lyrics actually share my love for my wife AND for God. I still can't believe we pulled it off.
