The Story Behind the Song

This is another one of those songs that can be taken 1 of 2 ways: Either a "Thank You" to God for always being there, or a "Thank You" to my wife for always being there. Either way, it's worth celebrating that I have someone who's always there when I need them!

Several years ago, in the days leading up to my wedding, one of my single friends came up to me and asked, "How do you know that she's THE ONE?" I don't exactly remember my response at the time, but after 10 years of marriage I have the answer: When you can't picture yourself going through life without her, then SHE'S THE ONE. The same can be said for my relationship with God. I can't picture myself ever being totally separated from him. What's even better is: neither can he. He, most definitely, is THE ONE.
