The Story Behind the Song

This is the only brand new recording on this album, but it is also the oldest song!

This song was originally recorded back in 1995 by Q and released on our "Into His Presence" album in 1997. This is my favorite Q song of all time and I have been singing this song as a solo piece for years to end my concerts. When I was working on "Refuge" I recorded a very simple 4-part arrangement of the song just to test out some of the equipment and recently, as I was going through my vaults, I found the recording.

My original thought was to just put the demo recording on this CD as a bonus track, but after listening to it I decided to record the song over again anew. I'm very pleased with the result!
