The Story Behind the Song

This song was one of the first songs that Q ever performed and it was recorded for our first album. A long-time concert favorite, this song really showcased the talents of the individual members of the group.

One night, during the sessions for “A Special Occasion”, we all gathered around one microphone in the studio and recorded this track in one take. It was intended as a demo, but I actually like this version better than the one we put on the album. It really demonstrates the excitement and intensity that Q performed with at the time. When Jen and Jon hit the high notes in the chorus after the second verse, I still get chills!
