The Story Behind the Song

As I stated before, my original intent was to write songs for a cappella groups seeking original material. There was one group from Montgomery, Alabama that took me up on the offer.

This recording was never intended to be released and a proper recording of it has never been made. I recorded this demo after a session one night just to give the group a rough sketch of this new gospel song that I had just written for them. It took me about an hour to record and mix it.

By the way, the group broke up before they could ever do any recording, so this is the first available recording of it.
