The Story Behind the Song

As we were beginning the second "Q" album (Into His Presence), we began talking about worship music and the importance of expressing praise to God through music. Our goal for the album was to lean more toward a worship feel, as opposed to the "performance" feel of our first album. So we began putting together songs with this in mind, and one of the first praise songs that I came up with was this one.

With all the talk about worship, I began to look through the scriptures for ideas, especially in the book of Psalms. Chapter 93 really jumped out at me as an expression of God's awesome power. The song more or less wrote itself.
